Absolutely agree with Dr. Lucky's POV on nutrition & lifestyle factors when it comes to fertility. Diet and lifestyle matter, but they can't change all patient outcomes when it comes to fertility/hormonal issues/endo. Loved this talk!

This was a great conversation because you led with the idea of knowing you were targeted by ads once you started looking at content around your life stage. I know may don’t even realize they are being targeted, which is why so many people try to profit off someone’s pain.

At 41, I had chemicals for 3/4 attempts doing IUI. I had planned to stop at 3 tries, but I felt like I just needed to catch a good egg (and the positive tests got my hopes up). Changed nothing, and try number 5 is my youngest son.

Amy that’s amazing! We’re getting ready for our 5th cycle of IVF next month and your story gives me hope! (BTW I’ve been down a rabbit hole on Substack/the internet last night and this morning, stumbled upon this interview and randomly found your comment, if you’re wondering 😂)

The point that struck me was not falling victim to the algorithm by seeking out hard copy resources. How do you decipher good information from bad? My own OB/GYN recommended I wear a cgm and read books from Casey Means and the Glucose Goddess because she was convinced I was insulin resistant without even taking a single lab test. Thankfully my public health background led me to see the red flags, but how can we trust but verify what our own doctors are recommending? Just because it’s in book form doesn’t mean it’s credible. Not to discredit this book, but we all have to be so careful about the information we are consuming.

Wow. I am the one who thought my chances were cut in half due to losing a tube from an ectopic pregnancy. Thank you for making this important information more accessible. 🙌

Bravo! Great to hear both of you share your important work.

Thank you for this recommendation! I had heard of other fertility resources like Dr Natalie Crawford and Dr Brook Stubbs. Some of my friends recommended but given the amount of misinformation, i wasn’t sure if they were trustworthy

Thank you for this information. My daughter is 38 and had five miscarriages. She did IVF with 32 eggs retrieved, but only 4 were in good shape. She’s now 20 wks and all is going well. The cost $$$$ with each miscarriage. She’s only had two attempts with implantation of eggs. This is her second. Many doses of medications. I wish she had this book to help. Hope this helps others.
